Hi! I'm Mai, a wannabe girly-pop serial product builder. You interpret that however you may like. This is my space to share my thoughts, share my builds, or simply rant from a low-traffic, tiny corner of the internet.

What am I doing now?

I'm currently a software engineer for a series-A e-commerce startup operating in the Philippines and a low-key founder for an ongoing startup venture in circular fashion. I was also previously a creatives chief officer for a failed research services and productivity startup. To be frank, my approach to my career right now is breadth over depth. I enjoy finding myself in new spaces and places to learn and grow may it be in tech, business or design.

During my free time I explore concepts in AI safety such as compute governance (p.s. super interesting to me!!) and am currently attending a fellowship exploring the intersection of AI and animal welfare.
